It’s happening again!  This time locally.  We’re planning a really special design for this one.  Here’s a hint:  Comfort!

I’m responsible for Production Design on the last 5 episodes of Abso Lutely Productions, Jon Benjamin Has a Van. The show airs on Comedy Central Wednesday nights from 10:30 to 11pm.

We are so excited that Unbeleafable screens tonight at the Downtown Independent. It’s a 3D skate video directed by Ty Evans.  We built the forest and wrangled those leaves.

It’s here!  Next week be sure to check out the debut of Jon Benjamin Has a Van on Comedy Central. I designed the last 5 episodes of the show so that’ll air in a month, but the entire run is awesome. Wednesdays at 10:30 pm! Starting off with a sneak peak next tuesday at 10:30pm.

The Cinefamily and Cinespia are taking urban pop-up screenings to a new level by launching the first in a series of cinematic field trips: the L.A. premiere of the new Werner Herzog 3-D documentary “Cave of Forgotten Dreams” inside the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County’s Mammal Hall — presented as the closing film in their “Art In The Streets” film retrospective (in association with MOCA and Levi’s Film Workshop). Herzog will appear in person, to answer questions about his incredible new film; again, he shows us images we’ve never seen before, as he brings 3-D cameras into the Chauvet caves of France, to where the oldest human wall paintings on Earth are located.

The Natural History Museum will be open from 5-11PM (during and after the screening) on Saturday, April 23rd, hosting our celebratory party that includes live bands, DJs, a full bar and more — with free admission open to the general public. Dntel (aka Jimmy Tamborello of The Postal Service) will spin records, and there will be performances throughout the Museum by White Magic, Nite Jewel, Islands and Matt Baldwin. In addition, local radio collective Dublab will also host a second set of live performances in the Museum’s Gem Room.

Paramount Vantage Sets Release Date for Sundance Winner ‘Like Crazy’

The romantic drama, starring Anton Yelchin, Felicity Jones and Jennifer Lawrence, will be in theaters this fall.

Paramount Vantage has officially scheduled a release date for Sundance winner Like Crazy.

The well-received Like Crazy, which stars Anton Yelchin, Felicity Jones and Jennifer Lawrence, will be in limited release Friday, Oct. 28.

Jones was awarded a special jury award for acting at Sundance for her performance. The 21-year-old Yelchin said in an interview with THR at Sundance that the improvisation done in the film was “magical.”

The romantic drama, which won the grand jury prize for U.S. dramatic film at this year’s festival, revolves around two college students — one American (Yelchin) and the other British (Jones) — who meet in Los Angeles and fall in love. It was the first film to be bought during the Park City-set fest, with Paramount and Indian Paintbrush paying $4 million to release the Drake Doremus-directed film worldwide.
