Words

The process always makes a good story…

(we write directions after completing the project)

conversations that never happened coming soon

driving into and out of storms coming soon

Words we look up to…

“simultaneously artistic and architectural propositions, philosophical investigations and metaphysical assumptions, excavations and constructions, archaeology and invention, rationality and absurdity.  They reveal the mental significance of construction by questioning, subordination, of eliminating utilitarian purpose.  The meaning is found, discovered and identified rather than projected.  The methodology of these explorations bypasses the notion of aesthetics: beauty resides in the very act of discovery, rather than in the processes of making.  These projects explore and valorize the mental essences of architecture through physical encounters and confrontations.  The idea is carried through with ritualistic fervor and mesmerizing repetition and perseverance.  Thought and matter,, idea and execution, inspiration and end result become inseparable.   Thought turns into existence, discipline into freedom and discovery.”
