Presales begin for this wild showcase of entertainers. Rachael, Alexi and I were asked to build the set without a budget. Why should we spend money on dressing and not just give it to Haiti? It’s a simple set and this preview does not show quite what we created. You’ll have to spend $2.99 to see more of the ambience which accompanied such talent.
Golden Hits went on a west coast mini tour organized around the Tonalism event that we brought up to Reed College in Portland. Alexi Gomez, Grant Leuchter and I had the pleasure to transform the space into an idyllic slumber party thanks to Elizabeth and the College’s Building and Grounds department. We filled a 4000 square foot room with dozens of mattresses and over 65 large pillows. Pictures to come. Here is a glimpse of the flier.
And a week and a half ago, Yuki and I collaborated with Tamar Levine for another XCVI shoot. Check out Tamar’s photo blog here to see the photos from the shoot.

This creative evening happens under Reclamation Project’s newest installation, “Aquarium.”
Visitors climb a ten foot staircase to feed reclaimed water into a plumbing system consisting of hundreds of used plastic bottles filled with sand, charcoal, gravel, and rocks suspended from the ceiling by the strength of hundreds of plastic bags. With the power of gravity, the water snakes and zigzags through this aqueduct/filtration system and empties purified into a modular pyramidal garden composed of food-producing, carnivorous, and water plants. And this is only the beginning of AQUARIUM. Fore more info please visit > http://reclamationproject.wordpress.com/aquarium/
Aquarium is on exhibit February 13 – March 6, 2010
One year after shooting the pilot for Kid Pitch, we are happy to see it make Fox Sports Net its new home. The show premiers this Sunday the 21st at 10:30 am and will feature interviews from Joe Torre and Vin Scully. Here are some behind the scenes photographs shot by Tiffany Roohani. And here is a link to a USA today article written about it.
